Truths I've Learned

I've learned that when you need to make a critical decision you should not do so when you are too happy or too sad... most likely it would be the wrong one.
I've learned that you have to let it settle...

I've learned that people don't change, at least not on things that actually matter...
I've learned that you either accept the people as they are or continue being disappointed...

I've learned that love is an action word... it is not merely loving the person secretly in your heart..
I've learned that love is not love unless you've expressed it ...

I've learned that each of us express love differently... but it is still love...
I've learned never to measure love from my perspective alone...

I've learned that you cannot control other people... how they would think, feel, react...
I've learned that you can only control yourself... your thoughts, feelings, reactions...

I've learned that there are people who can touch your life in the most special of ways... without them knowing it...
I've learned that it would be nice to do the same... for someone...

I've learned that no matter how good your intentions are a lie is still a lie...
I've learned that it still hurts... the lie kept, even more...

I've learned that there are only a few necessities and life... family, good friends, relationship with God...
I've learned that material things are not on the list...

I've learned that you cannot go on living for other people... it would just be plain existence...
I've learned that sometimes I deserve to live for me... I am as special, if not more...

I've learned ...
